Each year features a different choreographed storyline set to music by the family of Austrian composer Johann Strauss, performed by a live orchestra.
Iris Zimbelman conceived the idea of the Strauss Festival after traveling to Austria and succumbing to the Old World charm of waltz performances in Vienna’s Stadtpark.
The Strauss Board of Directors is made up of a diverse group of local community members that assist in fundraising, grant writing and provide the resources and support necessary to put on the Festival each year.
